Thornlow Preparatory School Printed Cotton Bags
Lucy Clarke from Thornlow Preparatory School organised a "Dragons Den" experience for year 7-8 pupils. Lucy approached us because one of the business ideas the budding entrepreneurs had come up with was to produce printed cotton bags to sell through "Bags4U". We were delighted to assist Lucy in the venture and agreed to produce the bags for the children and supply 50 free printed bags to get them started.
On 25th March the pupils entered the Dragon's Den and after skillful negotiation they agreed to sell 250 printed cotton bags. They also managed to secure sponsership from a local business who will contribute towards the cost of the bags in return for their logo appearing.
We would like to thank Lucy Clarke for giving us the opportunity to become involved in such an inspiring and exciting project. We will look out for the competition when the Bags4u team are out in the business world!
